Wedding
The concept of a wedding has evolved significantly over centuries, reflecting shifts in culture, religion, and society. In ancient times, marriages were often arranged to forge alliances between families or tribes. This was a common practice across civilizations like Ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome.
By the 19th century, weddings took on a more romantic vibe, thanks partly to literature and those fancy royal weddings that got everyone talking. Then, in the 20th century, things shifted again with the rise of consumer culture, making weddings a bigger deal than ever.
Today, weddings are still super personal and packed with cultural meaning. Looking ahead, they’re becoming platforms for sustainability and inclusivity, which is pretty cool. Plus, there’s this growing trend of celebrating all kinds of love stories, with ceremonies that vibe with different cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and expressions.

Weda and I tied the knot on June 24, 2024, in a meaningful and elegant ceremony. We kept the party going with a reception at the awesome Griya Taksu Kemenuh on June 28, 2024. We really hope everyone, including us, had a blast. That special day kicked off our journey together as a couple and a new family, and we’re stoked to see where it takes us.
